Purpose of Battery Pump Assistance Scheme
Crop protection is very important to control pests and diseases that damage agricultural crops. Farmer should be from Gujarat state.
The farmer should be of small, marginal or large farmer type.
The applicant farmer should have his own land record.
Farmers in forest areas must have a Tribal Land Forest Rights Certificate.

Benefit under Battery Pump Assistance Scheme
Power operated knapsack pumps and power operated Taiwan pumps with a capacity of 8 to 12 liters have been fixed for caste-wise assistance. In which Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste, Women, Small, Marginal farmers will get Rs. Assistance up to 3100/- will be available. And other beneficiaries will get assistance of Rs.2500/-.
SC/ST, Small, Marginal and Women Farmers in pumps with 12 to 16 liter capacity at Rs. 3800/- will get assistance and other beneficiaries will get assistance up to Rs.3000/-.
More than 16 liter capacity Power Spray Pump and Power Tiava Sprayer Pump Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste, Small Farmers, Marginal and Women Farmers will get assistance of Rs.10000/- and other beneficiaries Rs.8000/-.

Farmers have to apply online through the ikhedut portal to avail the battery operated pump assistance scheme. Beneficiary farmers can apply online from VCE from their Gram Panchayat. Farmers can fill online form from taluka office and other computer operators. Farmers themselves will get information on how to apply online at home.
- Applicant must first type ‘ikhedut portal’ in ‘Google’.
- Open the official website https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/ from the result.
- After opening the farmer website click on “Plan”.
- In which, after clicking on the scheme, opening the “Click here for Khetiwadi Schemes” on rank-1.
- After opening “Khetiwadi Ni Yojana” click on Crop Protection Components.
- In which rank number-1 has to be clicked in “Crop Protection Equipment – Power Operated”.
- In which, after reading all the information about crop protection equipment – power operated, click on “Apply” and open the website.
- Are you now a registered applicant farmer? In which if the registration has been done earlier then “Yes” and if not “No” then further processing has to be done.
- If registered by the applicant, Captcha Image has to be submitted after entering Aadhar Card and Mobile Number.
- If the beneficiary farmer has not registered on Ikhedut Portal then fill the online form by selecting ‘No’.
- The farmer has to save the application after filling the information completely accurately in the online form.
- The beneficiary farmers have to check the details again and confirm the application.
- No correction will be made after confirmation of online application.
- The farmer can get the print based on the application number.
